that if I want someone to reach out to me, I must reach out to them as well. Relationships and friendships are an active process. Nothing’s gonna happen if you just sit there, pine and wait. You have to go out there and risk it - risk getting yourself hurt. It doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl. Screw double standards! If someone makes you happy then tell them if you get the opportunity to do so. Thank them for putting a smile on your face. What the heck is wrong with that?
